A Very Merry Solstice To You All

For this years Christmas message, I thought I might awaken last years post of the Carol of the Old Ones, a Cthulhu takeoff on a classic Christmas Carol.

But dusting off ancient posts, I found not just the one, but a whole sub-genre of Cthulhu Christmas songs. These songs appear to be from the albums A Very Scary Solstice, and An Even Scarier Solstice, which can be purchased on the HP Lovecraft History Society site. I must get copies!

The Classics …

Carol of the Old Ones

Many more after the <!–more …

Awake Ye Scary Old Ones

Away in a Madhouse

Oh Cthulhu

If you prefer a more contemporary sound …

I Saw Mommy Kissing Yog-Sothoth

The Cultists Song

For those of you that await Cthulhu’s awakening in the Jewish tradition!?!

Shoggoth Shoggoth Shoggoth

And, lastly, while it’s not really Christmas material, I just couldn’t resist including …

If I Were a Deep One

The last one is from A Shoggoth on the Roof, the Musical, also available from the HPLCHS. (There’s a link to download a movie of the musical … although I haven’t looked at it).

A very merry (and safe) Christmas and New Years to you all.
