Yesterday I mentioned an article in the h+ Magazine about Dr. Byron Reeves who proposes that aspects of online multiplayer games may be useful in solving real world business problems.
The article linked Part 1 of 2 of a presentation, “Work Sucks – Games are Great”, given by Dr. Reeves. Part 2 is perhaps even more interesting, in that he discusses call center work in Puzzle Pirates!, medical diagnostics in Star Wars Galaxies!, and current research involving MMORPG’s.
Both videos are embedded after the break.
