A Social Media Wedding

After many, many years of dating, Emi and I finally tied the knot in a small chapel in Las Vegas this weekend. The Internet proved to be a godsend for having a small wedding on the cheap! Our official invitations went out via Evite, we Tweeted and TwitPic’d maniacally the entire weekend long, and I even constructed a Metaplace virtual world with a live video stream and guestbook for folks who couldn’t attend in person (and had a surprising, and touching number of guests viewing and signing).
